Guild learned today that we’ve received Fast Company’s World Changing Ideas Award. Our company is honored by this recognition of our work, and proud to join other amazing companies who are recipients and finalists for this award.

Fast Company cited Guild’s work to create a new category of Education as a Corporate Strategy — and as an innovative solution to prevent student debt in America while preparing America’s workforce for the future. This award is particularly gratifying because it honors exactly what our team has worked so hard to build, and the core mission we continue to push forward together.

This award also reflects an innovative culture we have tried to nurture at Guild where employees are willing to tackle complex challenges head on. That work has taken on new significance as we live through a time of unprecedented difficulty for our country and America’s workforce.

We believe that Guild is suited to help the American workforce prepare for the future of work. With significant uncertainty in our economy, a changing job landscape and high unemployment, that work has never been more vital.

We believe, in other words, that we’ve kicked off a world changing idea, one that has become even important in a world that has dramatically changed.

Now, more than ever, we are focused on providing America’s workforce with access to high-quality, low-cost education that provides them with the skills they will need for the changing face of work.
